I've been here multiple times in the last year. The food and service always superb! This is the best soul food I've had in the city. Always fresh and flavorful. I love their dressing and Mac and Cheese. And their peach cobbler..........listen. I'm not a big dessert eater but it's a MUST every time I go. The prices are inexpensive and they always have a special going on. The servers and employees are extremely kind and welcoming. It feels like you're walking into your aunt's house.

    That's it. I'm going tomorrow.

I have been eating here for since 1998. Came to the A for school and when I needed a home cooked meal...you were my spot!

My husband has been in love from the very first taste. The Salisbury steak is one of his favorites.

I love the baked chicken...still don't know what's done to keep it so moist. Although, I have been know to get a vegetable plate with a corn muffin. The sides are wonderful.

The peach cobbler is unique and sweet and crusty like I like it.

I love the consistency of several of the dishes but I do like the new addictions to the menu as well.

The bathroom is dated and could stand to be upgraded as could some of the furniture in the dining area.

However, none of this stops me from coming to get Sunday dinner on Tuesday!!

We love to eat and we love the food!! We would recommend checking this spot out when you are in the West End.

I visited with a friend on a Saturday afternoon because we both had strong cravings for soul food. By the time we drove up to the parking lot, there were no spaces available. We parked in a lot beside the restaurant and confirmed it was ok.

When we arrived inside, we were advised to grab a tray and silverware and advise the employee behind the hot bar what we wanted. There is a menu available, however, the food is served cafeteria style so I'm not sure how ordering off of the menu works. I ordered the turkey wings meal which comes with two turkey wings and cornbread dressing, two sides, and bread. I chose macaroni and cheese and turnips for my sides and added a drink. Once I grabbed my food, I paid at the cashier and found a table nearby. My total came to $14.22.

When I tell you that they don't skimp on the portions, they don't skimp on the portions.
This is definitely not the place to visit if you're watching your sugar, fat, or salt intake lol. The food is seasoned, the lemonade and tea is super sweet, and gravy is abundant. For me, I was in heaven if only for the day! The turkey wings and dressing was delicious. They tasted homemade. The mac and cheese was a little underwhelming and the turnips were a little sweeter than what I'm used to but good. The portions were so large that I couldn't even finish half of my plate. It made for a great meal the next day!

The food here is down right good. My realtor told me about the restaurant.

The restaurant is located in the west end of Atlanta. It's a L shaped building in a small parking lot. It's easy to find. It's a family owned business and they treat you that way.

The restaurant is a cafeteria style with some booths and tables. The dining room is small and There's a restroom inside. The ordering line usually wraps around the small dining room making it uncomfortable for a customer who wants to dine in.  The restaurant is clean.

I had the Q-Time special, roasted chicken, cornbread dressing, broccoli casserole and sweet potato soufflé. The dressing is my favorite!! The sweet potato soufflé was too spicy. Too much cinnamon or nutmeg?? The chicken had gravy drizzled over the. My son ordered the barbecue wings, macaroni and cheese and green beans. He enjoyed the macaroni and cheese, the green beans were OK. There cabbage is good and the potato salad too.

The prices are reasonable and you get your money's worth. The entire staff is friendly and delivers great customer service. They all greet you when you come in and apologize for the wait and thank you for your patience. I looking forward to trying out something else on the menu. I'll be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal  I had here. Everything was seasoned perfectly, the buffet selection was more than enough and the staff was pleasant. If you come when it is busy parking might be a little tight and the dinning area is small. Good for eat in or take out this will definitely be one of my go to spots for a home cooked meal.
